Sinca is situated in the center of Brasov county, in the south-eastern part of Fagaras Country. The administrative territory of the village ranges from the Persani mountains to the north and east, to the Fagaras mountains to the south, with a large opening to the Fagaras depression to the west. It consists of hills wrinkled with many water courses, the most important being Sinca river , a tributary of the Olt; alongside them, in the narrow meadows, lie the most fertile lands for agriculture. Large patches of forest can be found in the mountain area. They consist mainly of beech or mixes of beech and pinetrees. The mountains have an average height, with the tallest being Taga, measuring 1648 m.

At village level there are no critical areas concerning air-, water- or earth pollution. The village’s garbage storage is located near Ohaba village and consists of an intermediary storage(transfer ramp).
