Sinca village's development strategy untill 2010
1. Agriculture development
Agriculture in Sinca is influenced by the low fertility of the soil and the high diversity on relatively small areas, as a rezult of the influence of the relief and microclimate. For this reason the land has been divided into many small pieces, that people assert on the old locations because on small areas there is fertile as well as rocky soil.. |

Adding to these conditions the general restrictions caused by the high prices of agricultural mechanized operations, fertilisers, herbicides and pesticides, seeds, on one side, and the low prices for products on the agricultural market, on the other side, we can figure that the agriculture is one of subsistence, where in a household the production assures the family's consumption and the restart of the productive cicle next year. |

2. Development of industry
| Concerning the development of industry, we think that this would be possible through the proccesing of the raw materials available in the area, vegetables and livestock, but also the wood from the village forest. At the moment, in the village there are a butchery, milk proccesing facility, two mills, three woodmills, three carpenters and one unit that produces tin plate for roofs, all units being private units. | ![]() |
Other economic units in the village are the petrol deposit and the pipe isolation station. These are the units that provide the most working places in the village, except for services, trade, education and administration. |
|
3. Development of tourism and services
Concerning the development of tourism, we consider that Sinca is a village with high potential in this domain. We base our affirmation on the high number of touristic objectives that exist in our village, among which we can name Baile Persani, Templul Ursitelor near Sinca Veche village, Castrul roman near Sinca Veche, Manastirea Bucium, The Folk-art collection Radocea - Bucium village and the Ortodox Church from Sercaita, a monument of arhitecture. Other attractions are the beautiful valleys that descend wildly from the mountain tops, where the absolut masters are the brown bear, tha carpatina deer, the chamois and all the other creatures of the forest. |

In order to be able to expolit al these an infrastructure is necessary, that will provide easy acces, quality accomodation while mantaining the traditional style, clean restaurants with natural products of high quality. We think that once the water, sewer, gas and phone networks will be put into service, family lodgings can appear, that will offer special accomodation conditions to potential tourists. |
