Other attractions are the beautiful valleys that descend wildly from the mountain tops, where the absolut masters are the brown bear, tha carpatina deer, the chamois and all the other creatures of the forest.


The traditions and customs related to the celebration of the winter holidays have been kept alive to this day (Jesus's Birth, New Year, Boboteaza), the Heroes Day – the Ascendence of Jesus – 9th june. Among the villages specific events are the mixed markets(goods and livestock) that take place every year in Sinca Veche on 29th april, 20th july (Sf. Ilie) and 26th october (Sf. Dumitru).
